PSYD 7470 APP OF PSYC INTER IN SCH&COMM

A skills course that will examine the processes and mechanisms of change inherent in psychological treatments and the application of these interventions in educational and clinical settings. The empirical foundations of psychological interventions will be addressed wit an emphasis on practice implications of current thereapy research on readiness for change, efficacy and effectiveness, client-therapist variables, cultural diversity and the therapeutic relationship. Prerequisites: Matricaulation in the School-Clinical Psychology PSYD Program Type of Course: Doctoral Level: Required of School-Clinical Psychology PSYD
