PSYD 7331 RESEARCH DESIGN

The purpose of this course is for students to develop a keen understanding of research design and the skills necessary for the implementation of a research project. In particular, students will become familiar with issues, concepts and procedures in clinical efficacy and effectiveness research, including single-case experimental design. An expanded consideration of the ethics of research, IRB requirements and APA style of data reporting and manuscript writing will be included. Students will also gain experience with manuscript reviewing. PREREQ: Matriculation in the PSYD program in school-clinical psychology ENROLLMENT: 12 COURSE TYPE: Doctoral Level: Required for the doctoral program
