EL 5551 BASIC SCHOOL LAW AND POLICY
Covers legal principles generally applicable to education in the United States and to New Jersey public schools in particular, including Constitutional, statutory, and decisional law affecting policies and practices, with emphasis on analysis of major cases. Prerequisites: Completion of Modules I & II of the Principal/Supervisor Program Sequence, where applicable or instructor's permission. Students not meeting prerequisite must withdraw from the class. Required for all School Business Administrator, Principal and Supervisor Program Candidates.
