CPS 5980 COMPUTER AND NETWORK SECURITY

Introductionto to contemporary computer and network security issues, concepts and appli- cations. Topics include security threats, secret key and public key cryptographic algorithms, authentication and signature, IP security architecture, applications and standards such as: DES, AES, PGP and Kerberos. Prerequisites: CPS 4222 or permission of instruc- tor, MATH 5110 or equivalent.
