CDD 5264 AUGMENTATIVE/ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATION

Principles and practices of the emerging technological field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and its communication disorders. Class will speech- language-communication disorders. Class will be taught off campus at a Cerebral Palsy Center and will require guided observation of AAC clients at the center. Prerequisites: CDD 5531, 5268. EFFECTIVE 5/22/06 - CREDIT CHANGED FROM 3.0 TO 1.5
