Course Number: ASD 5000 Semester Hours: Three (3) Prerequisite: None Limitation on Enrollment: 25 Type of Course: Graduate Level: Required Course Certificate Program Catalogue Description: This course is designed to introduce educators, allied health professionals, and family members to the history, eitology, diagnostic criteria, assesment and treatment of individuals on the Austism Spectrum. Best Practice and empirical evidence for a variety of assessment and intervention approaches and strategies that address the core challenges and asssociated conditions of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders across the lifespan will be examined.
