Prerequisites and Corequisites
A prerequisite must be completed prior to gaining access to another course. A corequisite must be completed concurrently with another requirement or course. If a course has a prerequisite, students will not be able to register in the course unless those requirements are in progress or have been met. Students will be dropped from a course if they do not meet the prerequisite. If a course has a corequisite, such as a lab, the student will need to register for both the lecture and lab at the same time. Courses that have a corequisite cannot be waitlisted. Students can check the course catalog or talk to their advisors if they have questions about specific requirements.
