Students collaborate in teams to create professional quality digital media products. Students produce professional products promoting an organization. Emphasizing teamwork, design, and creativity, students collectively develop tangibles to the client showcasing their understanding of modern design principles, industry practices, and technical applications.

IV. Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Evaluate a client's needs, conceptualize the tangibles needed, and create tangibles for the client meeting their needs according to a timeline that works for the client.
  • Apply the skills they have learned in the digital media program to work as an effective and participating member of a team, demonstrating positive “people” skills.
  • Analyze their role(s) in the community and how they can improve the community they live in.
  • Create “deliverables” to each client as well as all “raw” files.
