ARTS 280 Art Portfolio*
This course intended for students in their final semester of the program. This course will provide students with the opportunity to prepare a comprehensive portfolio which may help them transfer to another college or gain scholarships and exhibition opportunities. In this course, students will demonstrate command of the Art Program Student Learning Objectives. Students will complete this project with a final presentation juried by the faculty within the program. This course is intended for students in their final semester of the program.
Prerequisite
Must have completed at least 45 credit hours toward an AA degree in Visual Art or department chair permission.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Demonstrate competency of the Art Program Learning Outcomes.
- Present of a digital portfolio of artwork made in the CSI Visual Arts Program with supporting documents to a panel of the Art faculty.
- Organize an exhibition and/or assist with the installation of an exhibition.
- Demonstrate professional skills that support a studio practice or career – writing, photographing artwork, installation, digital editing.
- Prepare a professional-level portfolio for transfer or to enter the workforce.
