JAPN 102 Elementary Japanese 2*
This course is a continuation of Japanese 101 with further study in speaking, listening, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and character writing (basic kanji, hiragana and katakana) in Japanese with emphasis placed primarily on developing basic speaking and listening skills preparatory to intermediate Japanese studies. Central to the course is the study of Japanese culture.
