Continuation of AQUA 102, this is a more advanced look into specific pathogens of aquatic species. Students will learn more advanced diagnostic and treatment methods.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Identify specific diseases of trout and other commonly cultured species.
- Describe the etiological agent for each disease.
- Discuss symptoms of each disease and ways to prevent or treat that specific disease.
- Discuss fish defense mechanisms for each disease.
- Identify safety and environmental concerns when dealing with drugs and chemicals used to treat fish disease.
