CISS 223 Advanced Internship
The internship is an integral part of the curriculum in which the student gains practical experience in the coursework taught in the Network Support Technician program. The internship training provides the student an opportunity to perform various computer procedures under supervision. Students must obtain an approved internship site (see advisor for suggestions). A minimum of 135 hours on the job must be completed prior to the student receiving a passing grade. Additionally, the student will maintain a journal, of work times and dates, throughout the internship depicting the skills used and/or gained during the internship experience.

- Completion of work reports and verification of time by the worksite supervisor.

JOB SITE:
Students will be responsible for securing their own internship position. Students must obtain an approved internship site - see advisor for suggestions.
COURSE ROLE:
This course is a required course in the Network Support Technology program and is designed to help students gain experience working in a "real life" work environment.
