HEHP-3014 Rsrch Mthds in Human Perf/Health Science
This course introduces students to the principles and practices of designing and conducting research in the health sciences. Focusing on the application of research methodologies, students will learn how to formulate research questions, develop hypotheses, and choose appropriate research designs for health-related studies. Throughout the course, students will actively engage in the entire research process, from literature review and data collection to analysis and reporting of results. Emphasis will be placed on ethical considerations, statistical methods, and the interpretation of findings within the context of health science practices. By the end of the course, students will design, implement, and analyze a research study of their own, preparing them for advanced work in public health, medicine, or other health-related fields.
