EDU-540 Art Methods for Secondary Teachers
This is a study of the methods and materials appropriate to teach art at the level of middle, junior or senior high students. Topics to be considered include: philosophy of secondary art, education, alignment of subject matter knowledge, and Idaho state standards for visual arts methods of art instruction, art curriculum (scope, and sequence), lesson planning, assessment, budget, exhibits and portfolio development. Prerequisites: Admission to Internship.
