GEO 130 General Physical Geography
This course introduces both the basic physical components that help shape the earth and the study of minerals, rocks, and evolution of landforms. Emphasis is placed on the geographic grid, cartography, weather, climate, mineral composition, fluvial processes, and erosion and deposition. Upon completion, students should be able to identify these components and processes and explain how they interact. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a general education course in Social/Behavioral Science.
