ESCI 260 Communicating the Earth and Space Sciences
Introduces the skills necessary to effectively communicate topics in the earth and space sciences to other scientists and the general public. Topics will include critically reading and citing geologic literature, developing materials for public outreach, preparing graphical representations of data, and giving effective presentations. One hour of lecture per week plus required attendance at weekly department seminars.
