ECON 370 Environmental and Ecological Economics
Environmental and Ecological Economics explores the relationship between our human social-economic systems and the natural environment. We analyze how markets may fail, causing environmental problems, how markets can be harnessed, and how various government policies and strategies can lead to better management of environmental resources and ecosystem services. Topics such as climate change, energy, governing the commons, and resource valuation are discussed and analyzed using multiple methods.
