Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Safe procedures for a welding environment
  • How to maintain a healthy environment and working relationship with others
  • How to use the American Welding Society Code book
  • The proper attitude, appearance, and certain demands needed to comply with the industry and company policy
  • How to contact the industry in their field of choice and complete an interview with employer, so the student will be able to understand the demands of the industry
