This course is a fundamental study of the anatomy and physiology of various domestic species. The student will examine skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary tract, digestive, reproductive, lymphatic, immune, and neurological systems.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Recognize and describe the anatomy and physiology of various animal species.
- Recognize and describe the numerous functions of the following systems: skeletal, muscles, digestive (ruminant vs. non-ruminant), cardiovascular, respiratory, urogenital, immune, lymphatic, nervous, endocrine, reproductive and special senses.
