This course surveys Latin American history including the Colonial Period, Revolution and Independence, the Nineteenth Century, and the Twentieth Century

  • Identify and write about the primary causes and consequences of the Latin American Independence movements.
  • Identify and write about the central themes of the 19th Century related to national development.
  • Identify and write about the causes and consequences of the Mexican Revolution.
  • Identify and write about the causes and nature of the Cuban Revolution.
