Students will work on live projects utilizing skills taught and knowledge learned during their first two semesters in the program. Students will become proficient in the diagnosis and repair of unsimulated equipment failure. This will include testing, repairing, and/or replacing of components. This should be completed following standard shop task lists and objectives.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • 1. follow all shop safety and cleanliness standards/procedures.
  • 2. demonstrate the proper way to work with others as a team working on CSI projects showing others courtesy and respect.
  • 3. demonstrate knowledge of time tickets, being legible and able to work in a flat rate of plus 50% or less.
  • 4. complete the performance objective and the cumulative record using rating scale as outlined in the student workbook.
