III. Catalog Course Description

The course features hands-on training that focuses on installing, configuring and managing Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware Vshpere. This course prepares the student for administration of industry leading virtual server technologies.

 

IV. Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Plan for and install, configure, and administer Microsoft Hyper-V platform.
  • Plan for and install, configure, and administer VMware Esxi virtual platform.

V. Topical Outline (Course Content)

Students will be provided licenses for Operating systems and access to Netlab.

Each student will install a virtual platform.

Students will configure and optimize virtual platforms.

Students will learn virtualization administration.
