MAT-114 Mathematics for Elementary Teachers II
Intended for prospective elementary or middle school teachers. Topics include operations with fractions and decimals, percents, ratio and proportion, real numbers, and statistics. The emphasis is on Instructional Shifts for Common Core Mathematics taught in the elementary school classroom, using a variety of teaching techniques, methods, and hands-on materials including manipulatives and technology.
Prerequisite
MAT-113 must be completed with a grade of C- or higher prior to taking this course.
