This specialization is designed for students who aspire to be music performers. It should be coupled with the Music major.

Students are encouraged to consider whether other courses outside MUS may be beneficial for their musical studies, such as foreign language study, courses in theatre, or courses in literature.

Applied Lessons (1 credit)
An additional two semesters (1 credit) of MUSAP are required beyond the Music major for a total of eight semesters (4 credits). Students must reach 400-level applied lessons to complete the specialization.

An additional two semesters (2 credits) of ensembles (MUS-120–MUS-129) are required beyond the Music major for a total of eight semesters (8 credits).
Concert Attendance
