POE-364 State & Local Politics

An intensive study of government institutions and processes at the state and local level. Special attention will be given both in class and assignments on state legislative elections. Debates, a visit to a local government meeting, and guest lectures from state and local leaders enhance the learning experience. Prerequisites: Junior standing
