MUS-355 Studio Teaching and Organization
Teaching private lessons is an important part of the professional life for many musicians. Students in this course will learn pedagogical and practical skills for running a private studio. Some topics in these areas may include effective modeling and teaching techniques, how to find students, how to set rates and keep records, and so on. Students enrolled in this course should have competency on their instrument equivalent to upper-division applied lessons.
