LAS-388 Mexico: the City As Place, Lit & History

This course considers the questions of contested place, cultural contacts and conflicts, as well as contemporary challenges posed by tourism in select pre-Columbian, colonial, and modern cities of Mexico. This is a preparatory course and is required for the four credit summer travel component. Prerequisite: Instructor permission.
