 Program Elective

This would be used anytime there is an elective that does not fall under one of the NECC approved elective classifications. For example, if you want students to take any course in Accounting, you cannot say Accounting Elective. You would say Program Elective with Elective Advice as follows: ACC101 or higher.

If the elective could include the following subject codes: ACCBUSECOFINHSTMGTMKTTLT; you could call it a Business Elective and still give advice as follows: ACC101 or higher recommended. However, the other subject codes would also fulfill the elective requirement.

 Science Elective BIOCHMERSPHSSCI
 Social Science Elective ANTECOGEOGOVHISPSYSOC

There is not an Honors Elective category, but HON courses would fall under the Liberal Arts category.
