This course serves as a final synthesis of the entire systems engineering curriculum. The course requires completion of an integrating project where student teams provide solutions using systems engineering methods and project management techniques.

Course Learning Outcomes

• Describe the role of systems engineering throughout the execution of a large engineering project.
• Prepare a cohesive management plan with key timelines and deliverable dates.
• Organize a diverse team with multiple educational backgrounds in order to accomplish the goals of the project.
• Demonstrate familiarity with system engineering tools and methods.
• Demonstrate familiarity with concepts, principles, and tools of statistical analysis, war-gaming, and discrete-event simulation as needed.

• Utilize the model-based engineering environment to support project execution.
• Prepare and deliver initial and final project reviews to a wide audience.
