Medical Science (M.S.)

The Master's of Science in Medical Science (MSMS) at Marymount University is designed to strengthen scientific skills, improve entrance exam scores, and gain a competitive advantage for applying or re-applying to medical or other competitive health professional schools.  The program is offered in collaboration with Ponce Health Sciences University, a locally and regionally accredited university through Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, which accredits M.D.-granting programs in the United States. The major goals of the MSMS program are to further develop students who have the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue competitive professional schools and identify pathways to students' dream healthcare careers.  

This is an 11-month, 42 credit program leading to a Master's of Science in Medical Science.  This program is offered in collaboration with Ponce Health Sciences University. To be eligible for the Master's of Science in Medical Science students must have earned a minimum of 3.0 GPA and have no more than 8 credits of C grades. Any course in which the student earned an F must be repeated. In addition, students must register for and pass the comprehensive qualifying exam at the end of the program.
