FSC 2300 COMMUNICATION IN FORENSIC SCIENCE

Clear and effective communication is essential when it comes to forensic science to ensure that everyone, even the non-educated public, understand the message. This course will demonstrate how without effective communication even the most accurate forensic analyses will not be of any use to the investigations. We will talk about the proper communication channels for forensic scientific research and will discuss the structure and requirements of scientific literature. We will then analyze scientific reports to be presented in court during a trial, and we will finally talk about oral communication of scientific results and their interpretations.
