STME 5918 BIOINFORMATICS AND CLINICAL APPLICATION

This course is an introduction to the objectives, data and data analysis methods of bioinformatics. Application to the clinical setting inclusive of variant classification, variant database identification, universal carrier screening, and role of the genetic counselor to be discussed. Not a laboratory-based course.
