The School of Curriculum and Teaching prepares students to be the educators of tomorrow.
Our students acquire the tools and resources to assist them in finding meaningful work in reverse, inclusive classrooms. The School of Curriculum and Teaching has graduate programs in the following areas:
- Early Childhood Education – Administration in Early Childhood and Family Studies
- Early Childhood Education – Advanced Curriculum Teaching
- Instruction and Curriculum – Bilingual/Bicultural Education
- Instruction and Curriculum – Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
The courses in these programs are aligned with Kean's Institution Priorities. These priorities require that our pre-service and in-service teacher candidates understand the importance of ensuring excellence and equity across all P-12 grade levels; commit to developing opportunities for P-12 students to engage in activities that promote social justice; and a respect for the processes involved in working towards continuous improvement in P-12 schools as well as within the Kean University community.
