THE 3220 METHODS FOR TEACHING THEATRE
Methods and strategies to deliver a standard-based theatre curriculum in the secondary school setting preparing the "mini" teacher Work Sample will encompass establishing learning goals, designing lesson plans, and using formative ans summative assessment to guide instructional decision-making. Developing curriculum, compiling a portfolio, and mastering classroom management will be covered. Adapting to the public school environment and the pre-professional field study experience will be supported by simulataneous participation in EMSE 3801.
