MGS 2150 BUSINESS STATISTICS & APPLIC.

This coourse focuses on real world business data and the ability required to use statistical tools to draw meaningful conclusions. Topics include techniques for summarizing and describing data, the nature of uncertainty and probability theory, central limit theorem, and sampling methodology. Inferential topics include confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, correlation and regression, analysis. The use of Excel and other computer software for analyzing data is integrated throughout the course. Attendance and coursework are mandatory. Semester Hours: Four (4). Required. Limit on Enrollment: 25 Prerequisite(s): Math 1044 Pre-calculus for Business and Economics or (Math 1054-Pre-calculus)
