GBUS 4330 INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

This course focuses on theories and practices of innovation and entrepreneurship. The role of entrepreneurs in creating jobs and prosperity will be discussed. Students will understand the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship and how companies use creativity and innovation to introduce new products and/or improve existing products to gain a sustainable competitive advantage. Students will be guided to work individually or in groups for generating new innovation ideas and turn those ideas into product concepts or real goods, services, and processes. Students will learn how to write a well-structured business plan. Prerequisite(s): ECO 1020, ECO 1021, MKT 2500, MGS 2030 ENROLLMENT LIMITS: 30
