ACCT 5010 ACCOUNTING FOR MANAGERS
This course will focus on accounting as an information system that benefits users such as investors, creditors, managers, governmental regulators and other interested parties. This course includes financial accounting with an emphasis on the conceptual framework of accounting, the bookkeeping process of accounting, and financial statements presentation and analysis. The managerial segment focuses on managerial accounting tools used for decision making, the foundation of managerial accounting, ethical issues, operations planning and control and performance evaluation. TYPE OF COURSE: Major requirement for non-accounting majors
