BIOS3575 PLANT PHYSIOLOGY

A study of physiological mechanisms involved in the germination, growth, development and reproduction of higher plants, including water relations, translocation, photosynthesis, importance of light, mineral nutrition, primary and secondary metabolism, plant hormones or growth regulators and stress physiology. Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab. Pre-reqisites: BIOS 2201 and BIOS 2202 or permission of instructor.
