PSRT 4261 DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

Utilizing lectures, discussions, small group exercises and student projects, students will obtain both knowledge and skills needed to work with consumers who are diagnosed as having a developmental disability. Topics will include inclusive education, the transition from student to normalized adult roles, the needs and concerns of families, and the various natural support systems available in the community.
