The practical training and theoretical understand- ing of mediators and mediation. Understanding the tradition, history, and theory behind media- tion, as well as implications of/for alternative dispute resolution, and practical hands on training in the communication processes of mediation. Prerequisite: Junior standing or permission of instructor.
