CDD 3259 BASIC AUDIOLOGY

An introduction to the field of audiology, anatomy and physiology of the auditory system, hearing, hearing disorders, theory and practice of basic audiometric assessment, and diagnosis and management of hearing loss and other auditory disorders. Emphasis will be made on understanding the importance of the auditory system in speech-language pathology. Prerequisite: CDD 2260
