Economics
The program offers a B.A. in Economics with an option in Teacher Certification. The Economics major introduces the student to the basic structure, processes, institutional framework and theories of the field of study. The student is trained in the analytical tools used in their study. Courses in economics prepare the student for graduate work in economics, finance, management, and law as well as corporate and public sector employment. Majors are urged to seek early advisement and to take additional mathematics and computer science courses if they plan on doing graduate work in Economics. Advisement by a Economics faculty member is required.
