HREC 139 Wilderness First Responder
This course provides an introduction to First Aid and patient care in remote settings. This course includes wound and infection management, realigning fractures, treating dislocations, improvised splinting techniques, patient monitoring, long-term management problems, and up-to-date information on environmental emergencies.
Students who complete Wilderness First Responder training from a qualified outside provider will receive alternative credit for this course.

First Aid, CPR, Adult, Child and infant with AED certification
Knowledge of treatment of injuries, patient assessment, environmental factors and medical illness.
