The student will enhance proofreading skills and will develop copy editing techniques for printed documents.
IV. Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Students will learn to identify common errors in writing.
- Students will become better copy editors using techniques learned in class.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to research information and compile it into a single paper.
V. Topical Outline (Course Content)
Students will complete weekly homework and chapter quizzes.
Additionally students will write a weekly journal on an assigned color theory topic that will be compiled into a report.
