Program Overview:
The Drafting Technology program provides training in aspects of drafting using CAD programs and traditional techniques. Students considering this program should possess a high aptitude for detail work and spatial relationships, be able to work in a team setting, and have a strong math background including algebra. This is a limited enrollment program.

Program Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of the Drafting program, a student will be able to:
- Provide updates to existing drawings to company standards.
- Print/publish drawings to defined scales.
- Work in a team atmosphere to develop a company project.
- Store and document projects to company standards.
- Provide assistance to other company departments (as needed)
- Be proficient in company tools, ie.. company provided CAD packages
Program Requirements for Admission:
Program Application Required
Take CSI Placement Exam.
Take CSI Placement Exam scores to program adviser for interpretation, personal interview and program acceptance.
Pay first semester’s tuition and fees to secure a slot.
