MAT-111 Contemporary Mathematics
A course designed to explore some of the great
ideas in mathematics and to discover the power of
mathematical thinking in everyday life. Topics
include counting techniques, infinity, geometry,
shape and space, chaos and fractals, and decision
science.
Prerequisites: MAT-101 or placement according to
the Math Placement Guide.
Prerequisite
MAT-101 or equivalent course, minimum grade of C or
placement prior to registering for this course.
