This course provides students with a fundamental understanding of the carbine rifle including the proper use, care, and storage. Topics that will be covered include:
- basic emergency care for firearms injuries
- carbine terminology
- carbine specifics
- safety procedures while using and storing carbines
- federal and state laws
- 8-hour live fire period of instruction at a local range
Students are required to provide a local criminal background check on the first day of class.
NO RIFLES ALLOWED ON CCC CAMPUS.
