HIST 331 Women and Gender in Modern US
Trace girls and women through major social, cultural, economic, and political changes since the late 1800s. Course studies their intersecting demands for political and civil rights, economic access, and labor improvements as well as the ways dramatic changes such as electricity, cars, and environmental issues affected their daily lives. Faculty select a theme to analyze the history.
