EARC 203 Child Development

Child Development. This course includes basic principles of child growth and development, ages 0-8 years of age, focusing on cognitive and effective development and assessment of children. The course includes techniques of guidance and methods of observing and understanding children’s behavior. Students will be asked to observe and interview children and families and to conduct studies using Jean Piaget’s work. Students are required to complete and pass a background check.
