Mission

The mission of the Graduate Programs of Nurse Anesthesia (GPNA) is to teach and contribute to the science and practice of anesthesia at the doctoral level by placing strong emphasis on academics for all students and rigorous clinical training. Doctoral candidates are expected to display a strong working knowledge of the healthcare environment while functioning as highly qualified anesthesia providers.
